We work in partnership with councils and community-focused organisations to bring Dreamer to life.
Each installation is tailored to suit, making the most of existing venues, infrastructure and opportunities, and creating an interactive experience that fosters joy, play, and community connection.
Most light festivals in Aotearoa are outdoors — which introduces a host of challenges
The challenge
SEASONAL LIMITATIONS
Weather is unpredictable in winter, and can be cold, and wet
Due to sunset times, summer events start too late for families (after 9pm)
HIGH RISK
Rain or wind can cancel events or compromise event attendance
High costs - outdoor event production, logistics and compliance are increasingly expensive
LOGISTICAL CHALLENGES
Outdoor infrastructure requires extensive weatherproofing
Installation can be impacted or compromised by weather
The OPPORTUNITY
Dreamer is a new kind of light experience — one that avoids these barriers through an indoor-first model
