  • Will Dreamer be open during Cyclone Vaianu?

    8:30am Sunday 12th April: Dreamer is currently open as planned. We’re monitoring weather conditions closely and will update ticket holders if anything changes.

    What happens if the venue is advised to close?

    If the venue is required to close Dreamer will issue full refunds for all affected sessions.

    Is Dreamer indoors?

    Yes, Dreamer is a completely indoor experience

    Is parking available?

    Underground car parking is available, providing additional protection from weather.

    What if my session is cancelled?

    In the event that Dreamer sessions are cancelled, full refunds will be issued automatically.

    How will I be notified of changes?

    Any updates regarding cancellations or changes will be communicated directly to ticket holders via email and posted on Dreamer’s official website and social channels.

    I have tickets for Sunday, 12th April but can’t travel due to the weather. What should I do?

    If you have tickets for Sunday, 12th April and are unable to travel to Dreamer because of the weather, or feel unsafe to do so, please email us to apply for a refund. Our team will assist you within 72 hours.

  • Allow approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to experience Dreamer

  • Please arrive no later than 15 minutes after your session start time. This allows at least 45 minutes to enjoy Dreamer.

    Ages 5-16 require a child ticket
    Age 17+ require an adult ticket

  • Family passes are available ($35) for groups of 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and three children.

  • Dreamer takes place in the main Expo Hall at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), a fully accessible venue in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau.

    The experience features low lighting and ambient audio (not loud). Most interactive installations are designed to be accessible for people using wheelchairs, with level access throughout the exhibition space.

  • While the experience does include audio and music, it is not loud.

  • Some installations within Dreamer include flashing and rapidly changing lights. While there are also calmer areas, visitors do need to move through some spaces where these lighting effects are present.

    If you are extremely sensitive to flashing lights, experience epilepsy, or similar sensory effects, Dreamer may not be suitable for you.

  • Te Tumu Café is located on Level 3 of the NZICC and will be open for drinks, coffee and light snacks. There are number of food options available in Sky City, including Andy’s Burgers

  • Dreamer closes at 4:00pm each day.

    The last entry is at 3:15pm, so visitors have at least 45 minutes before closing
